Southern Tennessee Regional Health System – Pulaski Earns Acute Stroke Ready Hospital Certification from The Joint Commission

PULASKI, Tenn. – Southern Tennessee Regional Health System – Pulaski (STRHS Pulaski) has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Acute Stroke Ready Hospital Certification, recognizing the hospital’s commitment to providing safe, high-quality care for patients experiencing stroke symptoms.
Stroke is a medical emergency where every minute matters. Acute Stroke Ready Hospital Certification recognizes hospitals that have established the processes, resources and clinical capabilities necessary to rapidly evaluate, diagnose and begin treatment for patients experiencing a stroke.
Achieving this certification reflects the work of physicians, nurses and clinical teams across STRHS Pulaski to ensure patients experiencing signs and symptoms of stroke receive timely, coordinated care close to home.

The Acute Stroke Ready Hospital Certification joins STRHS Pulaski’s growing list of clinical achievements, including accreditation as a Chest Pain Center.
