PULASKI, Tenn. — Southern Tennessee Regional Health System Pulaski (STRHS Pulaski) is proud to partner with the University of Tennessee Southern School of Nursing as a sponsor of the 2026 Future Firehawk Nursing Camp, an immersive educational experience designed to inspire and prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals.

The camp will be offered during two sessions: June 15–17 and June 29–July 1, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day. Open to high school juniors and seniors, the three-day program provides students with hands-on exposure to nursing education and healthcare careers through interactive learning experiences on the UT Southern campus and at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System Pulaski.

Participants will have the opportunity to train in the Nursing Simulation Lab, earn CPR certification, practice essential nursing skills, participate in patient-care simulations, tour Southern Tennessee Regional Health System Pulaski, and engage directly with nursing faculty, current nursing students, and healthcare professionals.

"As a community hospital committed to making communities healthier, we understand the importance of investing in the future healthcare workforce," said Jason Fugleberg, Chief Executive Officer of STRHS Pulaski. "We are proud to support the Future Firehawk Nursing Camp and provide students with firsthand exposure to the rewarding and impactful field of nursing. Programs like this help inspire future caregivers and strengthen the pipeline of healthcare professionals serving our region."

Hosted by the UT Southern School of Nursing, the camp is made possible through partnerships with Southern Tennessee Regional Health System Pulaski, Laerdal, and NHC.
