Southern Tennessee Regional Health System (STRHS) Pulaski is proud to announce the reopening of Southern Tennessee Primary Care Lynnville and the appointment of Melissa Pennington, FNP-C, as the clinic’s new primary care provider. The Lynnville clinic, which has been closed since January 2026, will officially resume operations on April 20, 2026, restoring vital healthcare services close to home for the Lynnville community.

Melissa Pennington brings over thirteen years of nursing experience to the role. She recently completed a Post Master’s Certificate in Nursing from the University of Alabama Huntsville and is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society. Her extensive background includes leadership as a nurse manager and clinical expertise in urgent and primary care environments.

"We are incredibly excited to reopen our doors in Lynnville and welcome Melissa to our medical staff," said Amber Evans, Market Director of Medical Group Services. "Her deep clinical roots in our region and her commitment to patient-centered care make her the perfect fit to lead this clinic as we return to serving our neighbors in the Lynnville area."

Pennington is a dedicated clinician who will see patients of all ages with her specialties including primary & urgent care, women’s health, pediatric & adolescent care, chronic disease management, weight management, and more.

A resident of Loretto, TN, Pennington is deeply connected to the Middle Tennessee community. She has been married to her husband, Jason, for 24 years, and they have three sons. Outside of the clinic, she is an active member of the Methodist faith and enjoys baking, traveling, and spending time with her family and her four pets.

The community is invited to a Meet the Provider event to welcome Melissa Pennington on April 23, 2026, at 2:00pm in the STRHS Pulaski Front Lobby.
