Celebrating Core Values: STRHS Pulaski 2024 Core Value Award Winners

At Southern Tennessee Regional Health System Pulaski (STRHS), our Core Values—Champion Patient Care, Do the Right Thing, Embrace Individuality, Act with Kindness, and Make a Difference Together—guide us in everything we do. Last year, we began honoring team members who exemplify these principles through our Core Value Awards. These awards recognize the individuals who live our mission and inspire others through their dedication and actions.

Congratulations to our 2024 Core Value Award Winners!

	Champion Patient Care Award: Chance Simmons As an RN, Chance demonstrates a relentless commitment to improving patient outcomes and experiences. From advocating for his patients to mentoring others, Chance’s dedication inspires his peers and reassures patients they are in great hands.
	Do the Right Thing Award: Jessica Smith Jessica leads by example, embodying integrity and honesty in every aspect of her role. As a manager, she balances tough decisions with kindness and remains unwaveringly focused on what is best for our patients, staff, and hospital.
	Embrace Individuality Award: Alisha Taylor Alisha creates a welcoming environment where everyone feels valued. Her friendly demeanor and dedication to making patients and coworkers feel at home reflect her commitment to this Core Value daily.
	Act with Kindness Award: Tina Gulley Tina’s humility, compassion, and empathy make her a cornerstone of our team. Whether helping patients with billing questions or assisting her colleagues, Tina’s kindness shines through. Many patients specifically seek her out because of her warm, patient-centered approach.
	Make a Difference Together Award: Chris Yarborough Chris exemplifies teamwork, always putting "we" before "me." Whether helping maintain hospital operations or offering a hand to friends, family, and colleagues, Chris demonstrates how collaboration and care can transform lives.

Each of these winners goes above and beyond to embody the values that make STRHS a trusted and compassionate healthcare provider. We are so proud of their contributions and grateful for their commitment to our mission.
